We took the children to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince today at the Warren.

So far this year, we've gone to X-Men Origins: Wolverine (May), Star Trek (May), Transformers 2 (June), and now Harry Potter (July). We are planning on taking the children to see GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra (August) as well. I took the children to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian in May the Friday after school got out after we catered Janell's baby shower.

This has been the best summer of movies I can remember in a long time. There were so many that I wanted to see but didn't have the time or money to see them.

I also would like to see the documentary called "The Cove" about the brutal dolphine drive/hunt in Japan. And the movie "Julie & Julia" about Julia Childs starring Meryl Streep, but that's something I can wait for the DVD on without loosing something.
