Today was Michelle's 14th birthday. It was the first time since Matt's divorce from his ex-wife that he's had Michelle on her birthday that I know of, at least since 2002. We took Michelle out to dinner at Andy's Grill and Bar here in Wellington and had a pretty good time. I had the grilled salmon and it was very good. Each of us enjoyed our food and drinks - what a surprise for once! Not that Andy's is bad, it is just hard to please all of us at once. LOL

After dinner we came back home and Michelle opened her presents. We got her two books on pet behavior that she asked for, as her goal is to be a veterinarian later in life. After presents it was chocolate cake and ice cream. Matt made the cake and I iced it, so group effort all the way around.

It was a nice change to actually be with her on her birthday.
